6:6 The bottom floor of the extension was seven and a half feet ¹  wide, the middle floor nine feet ²  wide, and the third floor ten and a half ³  feet wide. He made ledges ⁴  on the temple’s outer walls so the beams would not have to be inserted into the walls. ⁵

7:8 The palace where he lived was constructed in a similar way. ¹¹  He also constructed a palace like this hall for Pharaoh’s daughter, whom he had married. ¹²

9:16 (Pharaoh, king of Egypt, had attacked and captured Gezer. He burned it and killed the Canaanites who lived in the city. He gave it as a wedding present to his daughter, who had married Solomon.)

10:26 Solomon accumulated ¹³  chariots and horses. He had 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horses. He kept them in assigned cities and in Jerusalem. ¹⁴

22:6 So the king of Israel assembled about four hundred prophets and asked them, “Should I attack Ramoth Gilead or not?” ¹⁵  They said, “Attack! The sovereign one ¹⁶  will hand it over to the king.”

22:34 Now an archer shot an arrow at random, ¹⁹  and it struck the king of Israel between the plates of his armor. The king ²⁰  ordered his charioteer, “Turn around and take me from the battle line, ²¹  because I’m wounded.”
